Maintenance Associate (Handy Man)

Job Title: Handyman (Jack of All Trades)

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable, skilled Handyman (Jack of All Trades) to perform general maintenance and repairs across multiple commercial buildings. This role requires someone who is hands-on, dependable, and capable of handling a variety of tasks including minor repairs, maintenance, and upkeep.

The ideal candidate will have basic experience in multiple trades and be comfortable using tools, working on ladders, and completing general repair work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance across commercial properties
• Replace light bulbs and perform basic electrical fixes
• Repair sinks, toilets, and bathroom fixtures
• Complete minor carpentry work and repairs
• Perform painting and touch-up work as needed
• Handle basic drywall repairs and patchwork
• Use hand and power tools (drills, saws, etc.) safely and effectively
• Climb ladders and work in various environments
• Troubleshoot and fix minor maintenance issues
• Keep work areas clean and organized
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Basic knowledge of general maintenance and repairs
• Experience using hand and power tools (drill, etc.)
• Ability to climb ladders and perform physical tasks
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently

Preferred:

• Experience in carpentry, painting, plumbing, or drywall
• Prior handyman or maintenance experience in commercial settings

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials
• Ability to stand, bend, and work for extended periods
• Comfortable working on ladders and in different environments
