HOUSEKEEPING: Historic Hotel

We are seeking reliable, detail-oriented, and respectful Housekeeper to join the team at our hotel, a beautifully restored historic mansion in the heart of Oconomowoc’s Lake Country.

What You’ll Do

• Clean and prepare guest rooms and common areas to the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation
• Care for historic finishes, antique furnishings, and restored details with respect and attention
• Change linens, restock amenities, and ensure every room feels fresh and welcoming
• Maintain public spaces, hallways, and lobby areas to reflect the hotel’s elegant historic character
• Report any maintenance needs or damages promptly
• Work efficiently while delivering the quiet, unobtrusive service our guests expect

What We’re Looking For

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (hotel or upscale residential preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and pride in creating spotless, inviting spaces
• Respect for historic properties and ability to handle delicate surfaces and furnishings carefully
• Reliable, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a small team
• Positive attitude and commitment to excellent guest satisfaction
• Availability for mornings, weekends, and some holidays
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods
