Pay Rate: $16.50/hr Monday-Saturday:5am-1.30pm

Start Time: 330pm-12am - Sun-Friday

5am-130pm - Monday-Saturday -$15/hr

JOB DESCRIPTION

Position Summary:
This position is responsible for operating machinery used to wash soiled healthcare linen items, including blankets, sheets, towels, scrubs, gowns, and other materials, according to customer specifications while maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, meet production goals, and safely perform the physical requirements of the role.

Key Responsibilities:

·         Operate industrial laundry equipment safely and efficiently.

·         Wash healthcare linens according to customer and quality specifications.

·         Maintain a strong focus on safety for yourself and your coworkers.

·         Meet or exceed daily production standards.

·         Work cooperatively with team members and supervisors.

·         Move between tasks as production needs change.

·         Identify and communicate concerns, needs, and opportunities for improvement.

·         Participate in training and follow all safety procedures.

·         Work overtime as required.

Physical Requirements:

·         Stand and walk for up to 10 hours per day.

·         Work in hot and cold industrial laundry environments.

·         Lift up to 40 lbs regularly.

·         Push and pull linen carts weighing up to 800 lbs on wheels.

·         Perform repetitive bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting.

·         Move carts requiring up to 35 lbs of push/pull force.
