Job Description: This position is for a food manufacturing Plant in Northeast Indiana

Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and rebuilding industrial machinery and equipment while ensuring compliance with all plant rules, GMPs, and safety procedures. Duties include performing preventive maintenance, machine fabrication, welding (TIG and ARC), greasing equipment, working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and assisting with equipment operation and training.

Must be knowledgeable in confined space entry, hot work permits, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety (arc flash), animal welfare requirements, NELS/PSM-RMP checks, and emergency response procedures. Required certifications include pallet jack, forklift, scissor lift, confined space, electrical safety, and LOTO. Candidates should be self-motivated team players capable of working independently with minimal supervision.

Additional qualifications include proficiency in machine rebuilds, electrical conduit bending and routing, industrial electrical systems (including 480-volt experience), and basic knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems, industrial boilers, and OSSID equipment. Successful candidates must pass maintenance testing and demonstrate advanced technical skills beyond entry-level maintenance responsibilities.
