Homestead Home Builders is a growing residential custom home builder serving Northern Colorado to Cheyenne, WY. We are dedicated to craftsmanship, quality, and creating homes that reflect each client’s vision and lifestyle. We are currently seeking a talented and organized Interior Designer / Selections Coordinator to join our team.

This position is ideal for someone who has a passion for residential design, enjoys working directly with homeowners, and thrives in a collaborative construction environment.

Position Overview

The Interior Designer / Selections Coordinator will guide clients through the design and selections process for their custom homes while helping ensure projects remain organized, on schedule, and aligned with budget expectations. This role combines creativity, customer service, and project coordination.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to guide interior and exterior selections
• Assist clients with cabinetry, countertops, flooring, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures, paint colors, hardware, and other finish selections
• Develop cohesive design palettes and presentation materials
• Coordinate and document all selections for construction and vendor use
• Work closely with project managers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors
• Maintain selection schedules and deadlines throughout the build process
• Stay informed on current residential design trends, materials, and products
• Help create a positive and enjoyable client experience from start to finish

Qualifications

• Experience in residential interior and exterior design, selections coordination, or related field preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Knowledge of residential construction and finish materials is a plus
• Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Chief Architect, or similar programs is beneficial, but not required.
• Professional, self-motivated, and team-oriented mindset
