Pressure Test/ Proof Leak Test

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for performing multiple tasks associated with manufacturing products.  Be able to read and work according to work orders, verbal instructions and the various requirements set forth by CPI and its Quality Management System.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

·         Operate various pieces of machinery.

·         Responsible for pressure testing manufactured products.

·         Manage maintenance of gauges, regulators, valves and fixtures.

·         Capable of performing pre and post process testing.

·         Ability to follow the processes detailed within the work instructions.

·         Commitment to quality.

·         Ability to complete process with extreme care as to not damage parts

·         Cut, de burr, brush material as assigned.

·         Perform various part finishing tasks.

·         Meet goals and objectives in a timely manner.

·         Maintain a clean and organized workspace.

·         Follow procedures and use common sense to maintain a safe working environment.

·         Arrive to work, meetings, appointments, and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.

·         Perform other tasks as assigned.

PERIPHERAL DUTIES

·         Interact with organizational team members and other departments in a professional manner.  

·         Perform other duties as assigned.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Manufacturing environment; may be exposed to loud noises, unique smells, changing temperatures, machinery with moving parts and other dangers associated with manufacturing (cutting, deburring, etc.). CPI has safety equipment and safety standards in place to help maintain a safe work environment.

WORKING HOURS

Monday – Friday 2nd Shift 03:30pm - 12:00am. ($25 an hour) - Training shift will be 7:30am - 4:00pm  Overtime may be required on an as needed basis.

EQUIPIMENT/MACHINERY USED

·         Pressure gauges.

·         Pressure valves.

·         Pressure fixtures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Lifting up to 50lbs regularly and 75lbs occasionally, pushing, pulling, standing for long periods of time, manual dexterity, and visual acuity.
