Machinist

Sierra Machinery, Inc., manufacturer of the worlds fastest skiving and roller burnishing machine, has immediate openings for the following:

Machinist/CNC Operator:

• Set up and operate CNC machines (lathes and mills)
• Set up and operate surface grinder
• Program CNC machines
• Adjust feed and speed accordingly
• Deburr parts
• Change tooling
• Inspect parts according to blueprint
• Other machining duties as required

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent education
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC machinist or similar role
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers and gauges
• Excellent attention to details
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
