Responsibilities
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing markups and draw details in CAD.
- Implement and reinforce CAD standards within the company.
- Pick up redlines utilizing AutoCAD, MicroStation and Revit for different engineering fields.
- Coordinate with engineers and make sure markups are being addressed properly and resolve any discrepancies.
- Go on the field for survey, site conditions and photographs.
- Prepare design and construction submission package.
- Coordinate and attend meetings when required to meet client’s CAD expectations
- Assist the engineers with any CAD drafting need.
Requirements
Essential Skills and Experience:
- High school diploma.
- 3-5 years of experience in structural design and detailing.
- Professional Draftsmen License preferred.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, REVIT, Microstation & Bluebeam
- Excellent oral, written skills and communication skills.
- Curiosity and interest in continuous learning in AI and comfort experimenting and iterating quickly; uses data to validate ideas and measure impact.
- Commitment to ethical and responsible AI adoption, including privacy-by-design and safe use of tools.
