Janitorial

Our client is seeking a Janitorial Associate to join their team. As a Janitorial team member, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting the daily cleaning and maintenance of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Janitorial

Location: Alexandria, MN

Pay Range: $22.00/hour

Shift: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

• Perform general cleaning of offices, control rooms, and facility areas including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Move equipment and furniture to facilitate effective cleaning
• Clean and dust furniture, desks, files, and chairs daily
• Wash walls, ceilings, windows, and woodwork to maintain cleanliness standards
• Sanitize restrooms, replenish supplies, and maintain cleanliness of all restroom fixtures and metalwork

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• At least one (1) year of custodial cleaning and minor maintenance experience in a commercial setting
• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products, and techniques
• Ability to operate ladders, hand tools, and small power equipment safely
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work in extreme temperatures and confined spaces
