AlliedTravelCareers is working with United Health Care Staffing to find a qualified Nuclear Medicine Tech in Tacoma, Washington, 98430!
Job Responsibilities
Radiopharmaceutical Prep: Prepare, calculate, and safely administer radioactive isotopes/traces orally or via IV injection.
Diagnostic Imaging: Operate specialized gamma cameras, SPECT, and PET/CT scanners to capture organ function and cellular structures.
Radiation Safety: Strictly adhere to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
Documentation & Processing: Process acquired scan data, manage electronic documentation via Epic Systems, and send completed scans to PACS.

Requirements
Job Requirements
Certification: Active NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board) or ARRT(N) registration.
License: Unrestricted Washington State Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist license.
Experience: Minimum 1 to 2 years of recent, independent experience in an acute care hospital setting.
Life Support: Active American Heart Association BLS certification.
