This is a full-time, hands-on woodworking position in a fast-paced production environment, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and a commitment to accuracy, quality, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble CNC-cut cabinet components into finished cabinets, including boxes, doors, drawers, panels, and frames using hand and power tools.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand specifications and assembly requirements.
  • Align, square, fasten, and fit cabinet components accurately to ensure proper structure and appearance.
  • Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, drivers, clamps, and related equipment to complete assembly operations.
  • Perform light cutting and fitting of components using woodworking saws, including table saws, miter saws, and panel saws, to achieve correct sizing and final fit.
  • Inspect assembled units for accuracy, alignment, and overall quality, and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment.
  • Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of cabinet assembly, millwork, or woodworking experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience working in a cabinet shop or woodworking production or manufacturing setting.
  • Proficiency using woodworking saws such as table saws, miter saws, and similar cutting equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical drawings.
  • Skilled use of hand and power tools commonly used in cabinet assembly, including drills, drivers, clamps, and related tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Comfort working on your feet for a full shift in a production environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience assembling full cabinets, including boxes, doors, and drawers, in a production or cabinet shop environment.
  • Experience operating additional woodworking machinery such as edgebanders, CNC equipment, or routers.
  • Experience in woodworking or millwork that goes beyond general labor, construction cleanup, warehouse picking or packing, or non-wood fabrication.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production shop environment as distinct from jobsite construction.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and production schedules while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Strong safety awareness when working around woodworking machinery, tools, and production equipment.
