Job Title: Cabinet Assembler
Job Description
The Cabinet Assembler role focuses on building high-quality cabinetry by assembling CNC-cut components into finished cabinet boxes, doors, drawers, panels, and frames using hand and power tools. This is a full-time, hands-on woodworking position in a fast-paced production environment, working Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings, and a commitment to accuracy, quality, and safe work practices.
Responsibilities
- Assemble CNC-cut cabinet components into finished cabinets, including boxes, doors, drawers, panels, and frames using hand and power tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand specifications and assembly requirements.
- Align, square, fasten, and fit cabinet components accurately to ensure proper structure and appearance.
- Use hand tools and power tools such as drills, drivers, clamps, and related equipment to complete assembly operations.
- Perform light cutting and fitting of components using woodworking saws, including table saws, miter saws, and panel saws, to achieve correct sizing and final fit.
- Inspect assembled units for accuracy, alignment, and overall quality, and make necessary adjustments or corrections.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, following all safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment.
- Work efficiently to meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 2 years of cabinet assembly, millwork, or woodworking experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience working in a cabinet shop or woodworking production or manufacturing setting.
- Proficiency using woodworking saws such as table saws, miter saws, and similar cutting equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical drawings.
- Skilled use of hand and power tools commonly used in cabinet assembly, including drills, drivers, clamps, and related tools.
- Strong attention to detail and a consistent commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Comfort working on your feet for a full shift in a production environment, including standing and walking for extended periods.
- Authorization to work in the United States.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience assembling full cabinets, including boxes, doors, and drawers, in a production or cabinet shop environment.
- Experience operating additional woodworking machinery such as edgebanders, CNC equipment, or routers.
- Experience in woodworking or millwork that goes beyond general labor, construction cleanup, warehouse picking or packing, or non-wood fabrication.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production shop environment as distinct from jobsite construction.
- Demonstrated ability to follow detailed instructions and production schedules while maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong safety awareness when working around woodworking machinery, tools, and production equipment.

Work Environment
This position is based in a workshop and manufacturing setting dedicated to cabinetry production. You will work around woodworking machinery, including saws and other cutting and assembly equipment, in an environment with typical exposure to noise, dust, and moving machinery. Personal protective equipment is required and provided to support safe work practices. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with work performed on your feet for most of the shift. Physical requirements include standing or walking for extended periods, lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds, and occasional bending, stooping, and overhead reaching. Work attire should be appropriate for a production shop environment where safety, comfort, and practicality are essential.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
