Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Approx. 5 hours OT weekly)
Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (90 days)
Location: Clackamas, OR (On-site)

Position OverviewThe Driver Check-In Clerk plays a critical role as the first point of contact for incoming drivers at a busy warehouse facility. This position involves coordinating driver arrivals, assigning dock bays, managing scheduling, and ensuring accurate documentation of shipments and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities- Check in drivers throughout the day and verify arrival details
- Provide directions to the facility and designated parking areas
- Assign dock bays and communicate loading/unloading instructions
- Update internal systems with completed orders and delivery status
- Coordinate with warehouse staff on work orders and driver flow
- Schedule deliveries and appointments for both warehouse and client locations
- Handle incoming calls from drivers, clients, and internal teams
- Perform front desk duties including greeting visitors and managing inquiries
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for driver activity
- Experience in clerical, administrative, or data entry roles
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask across systems (inventory systems, email, phone)
- Experience scheduling appointments or coordinating logistics
- High attention to detail and organization
- Experience in warehouse, logistics, or inventory environments
- Familiarity with inventory management systems
- Experience in a front desk or high-volume administrative role
- Cold storage warehouse setting
- Position is based in the office area (warm section of the warehouse)
- Fast-paced, high-interaction role with drivers and warehouse staff
