CNC Machinist $18-28/hr
Job Description
This role focuses on CNC machining in a small, tight-knit machine shop that produces a variety of components. You will operate CNC mills and/or lathes in a production environment, performing offsets, tooling changes, and running ongoing work with minimal supervision. This position does not require programming experience but does require solid hands-on CNC skills and the ability to maintain quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC mills and lathes in a production environment to manufacture various components according to specifications.
- Set up CNC machines, including installing and adjusting tooling, fixtures, and workholding as required.
- Perform machine offsets and adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and part quality.
- Run ongoing production work, monitoring machines for proper operation and addressing issues proactively.
- Inspect parts during and after machining to ensure they meet quality standards and tolerances.
- Work with light supervision, managing daily tasks and priorities to meet production schedules.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures in the manufacturing facility.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot machining issues and improve processes where possible.

Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing facility within a small machine shop setting. You will work around CNC mills and lathes, including Mazak equipment, and handle regular setups, tooling, and production runs. The environment is hands-on and production-focused, with light supervision and close collaboration among a small team.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
