Ensure the orderly and timely flow of component parts, assemblies, and subassemblies to meet production schedule requirements. Responsible for issuing materials to production operations and handling large/heavy work pieces for operations such as shearing, punching, drilling, bending, and deburring. Maintain effective inventory control over incoming and stocked material, equipment, and supplies. Perform area cleanup and safety-related duties.
Responsibilities
- Possess necessary computer skills to proficiently handle routine tasks.
- Communicate clearly with coworkers, planners, material managers, and internal customers while working toward team goals.
- Identify material shortages and support problem-solving resolutions.
- Document and distribute scrap/salvage parts.
- Kit daily or weekly assembly picks as required by job function.
- General knowledge of material planning, control, manufacturing environments, and inventory methodology.
- General organizational, communication (verbal & written), collaboration skills, and flexibility.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Follow established procedures on routine work, requiring specific instructions on new assignments.
- Proficient computer skills.
- Data entry and quality check experience.
- Inventory control and production experience.
- Team-player mentality.
- Willingness to learn.
- Production/manufacturing and warehouse experience.
- Shipping and receiving, production control, cycle counts, stocking, and order fulfillment.
- Comfortable lifting 30 lbs.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, and stretch.
- Willingness to work at various heights using a ladder.

Work Environment
Work the 1st shift from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. After a few weeks, expect to work one weekend day per week. Enjoy a climate-controlled facility that is clean and organized. Flexibility is provided within reason to accommodate employee schedules.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
