Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A fulfilling contract opportunity awaits an experienced nurse who is passionate about supporting students in a school setting. This role focuses on providing dedicated 1:1 care for a male Out of District student, ensuring his health and well-being throughout the school day as well as during transportation to and from campus. The assignment is projected to continue through the remainder of the 25/26 academic year, including summer sessions, with the strong possibility of extending into the fall and potentially the 26/27 school year.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Massachusetts LPN or RN license required
• Previous experience working in school settings or with pediatric populations is highly desirable
• Comfortable providing 1:1 care, including during student transportation
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with school personnel and families
• Compassion, discretion, and professionalism are essential

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to the assigned student during the school day and transportation
• Monitor and manage the student’s health needs, including medication administration and emergency response
• Maintain accurate health records and communicate updates as needed
• Collaborate with educators, healthcare staff, and family members to promote the student’s well-being
• Adhere to all state and district policies and nursing standards
