Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An exciting opportunity awaits for a dedicated Special Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. This contract position begins August 17, 2026, and continues through June 17, 2027. Serving students with a range of mild to severe disabilities, you’ll be instrumental in fostering growth and positive outcomes. Experience with students exhibiting various behaviors and emotional disabilities is highly valued, as it will enable you to tailor support and instruction to their unique needs.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid state certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably in a school setting
• Background working with students with mild to severe disabilities
• Demonstrated ability to address behavioral and emotional concerns
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
• Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to provide effective instruction for students of varying abilities and behaviors
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
• Collaborate with related service providers, classroom teachers, and families to support student success
• Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and documentation according to school and legal requirements
