Job Description
Our organization, dedicated to Women's Health, consists of skilled Physicians who possess the expertise required to deliver obstetric and gynecological care tailored to the diverse age groups of our patients.
We are currently looking for a full-time Physician to join our OB-GYN practice at Manchester OB-GYN Associates, situated in Manchester, CT. Our team includes 4 MDs, 5 Certified Nurse Midwives, and 1 Physician Assistant, all of whom share on-call duties and serve patients across two office locations. This practice is affiliated with Manchester Memorial Hospital.
Applicants should be capable of diagnosing patient conditions and offering suitable treatment options. A solid understanding of fetal growth and development principles is essential, along with the ability to recognize and address the specific needs of patients based on their age.
Position Highlights- Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather comprehensive patient medical information, including health history and examination results.
- Order or perform therapeutic procedures such as injections, immunizations, and basic wound care.
- Provide instruction and counseling to patients on adherence to prescribed treatment plans, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional well-being, and health maintenance.
- Develop and execute patient management strategies, monitor hospitalized patients as necessary, document progress notes, and facilitate continuity of care.
- Achieve proficiency in the Electronic Medical Record System.
- Submit billing at the time of patient visits.

- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution
- Board certified or board eligible
- Valid Connecticut medical license
- Federal and State controlled substance licenses
- BLS certification
- Eligibility for hospital privileges
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written), active listening, and customer service abilities
