This is a 13-week contract position.

\n\nSchedule\n

Day shift, 5 days a week from 07:00 AM to 03:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with on-call responsibilities every 4th weekday and weekend, including some holidays.

\n\nJob Description\n

The Operating Room Circulating RN will be responsible for facilitating surgical procedures and providing support in the Operating Room and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The RN will work in a variety of surgical specialties, attending to both adult and pediatric patients.

\n\nResponsibilities\n

\n
• Circulate in various surgical procedures including endoscopic, general surgery, gynecology, ophthalmology, and orthopedics.
\n
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and effective outcomes.
\n
• Manage and coordinate patient care throughout the surgical process.
\n
• Adhere to infection control protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe surgical environment.
\n
• Handle equipment and materials necessary for surgical procedures.
\n

\n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n

\n
• 1+ years of nursing experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
\n
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state or compact state.
\n
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are required.
\n
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications are preferred.
\n
• Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
\n
