Position OverviewThe Registered Nurse (RN) serves as a vital healthcare professional, overseeing and directing nursing care within the cath lab and interventional radiology departments. We seek an enthusiastic and driven individual dedicated to enhancing the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment (20%): Conduct thorough nursing assessments to establish a comprehensive database.
- Planning (10%): Develop and coordinate a care plan based on initial assessments, patient diagnoses, and physician directives.
- Implementation (30%): Deliver and document nursing interventions tailored to patient needs and evolving conditions.
- Evaluation (10%): Assess the effectiveness of nursing care and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Professional Development (10%): Take responsibility for your professional growth and contribute to team learning.
- Safety and Infection Control (5%): Adhere to safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Service Excellence (10%): Provide high-quality, respectful care to all patients and their families.
- Quality Improvement (5%): Engage in quality assessment and improvement initiatives.
- Age-Appropriate Care: Deliver care suitable for various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
- Specialized Care: Offer specialized support to patients at high risk for injury.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited nursing program or equivalent educational background for licensure.
- Experience: Minimum of one year in medical-surgical nursing; experience in Critical Care or Post Anesthesia Care is preferred.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Advanced Life Support (ALS) - American Heart Association
- Regular exposure to bloodborne pathogens and various patient conditions.
- May encounter unpleasant situations, including accidents and illnesses.
- Work hours may vary, including irregular shifts and emergency situations.
- Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and transferring patients.
