American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgery (OR) position in Northern California, requiring at least 2 years of surgical nursing experience and active CA RN licensure.
Details- Surgery unit in a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday
- Shift hours: 10:45–19:15
- 13-week contract
- Active CA RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of surgical RN experience required
- Current BLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- Current ACLS certification required (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
- DCI/Behavioral Violence Prevention (BVP) certification required — can be completed via Relias, Healthcare Staffing Hire, or the free CDC resource
- EMR experience required — must have experience on the facility's specific EMR system
- DOB and SSN required for consideration

- Provides perioperative nursing care within a surgical unit
