Staff Today is seeking a local contract Occupational Therapist for a local contract job in Falls Church, Virginia.

Health Advocates Network is currently seeking a Occupational Therapist to work at a Facility in Falls Church, VA. These are registry positions with our company.
Pay Rate: $61 / hour
Duties:
- Assess patients’ physical, mental, and developmental abilities
- Create individualized therapy plans
- Help patients improve daily living skills (dressing, eating, bathing)
- Provide therapy to improve motor skills and coordination
- Recommend assistive devices and adaptive equipment
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques
- Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans
- Document therapy sessions and patient outcomes
- Work with doctors and healthcare team
- Support patients in becoming more independent
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least one year (12 months) of experience as a Occupational Therapist
- Must have up to date credentials in the state of VA
- A valid and current CPR card (American Heart Association)
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Compassionate and caring demeanor
- Familiarity with medical terminology
