Job Description:

The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatient and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. Responsibilities include the performance of basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services. The CT Technologist demonstrates proficiency at routine diagnostic CT Scanning procedures including CT of head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis extremities, and biopsy/drainage procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Perform CTs and daily equipment QC
• Provide imaging services including basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, and more
• Demonstrate proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures
• Ensure knowledge of processing of CT system and surgical/sterile procedure

Requirements:

• 3+ years experience required
• BLS required
• ARRT (R) certification
• New Mexico license and CT New Mexico temp or permanent license required
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school
