CNC Mill & Lathe Machinist – All Shifts | Benefits Start Day 1

Location: Meriden, CT

Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

Available Schedules

1st Shift: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM2nd Shift: Monday–Friday | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM3rd Shift: Monday–Friday | 11:00 PM – 7:30 AM Overtime is available on all shifts.

Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes

  • Machine tight‑tolerance aerospace and precision components

  • Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and GD&T

  • Perform tooling changes, offsets, and setup optimization

  • Conduct in‑process and final inspections

  • Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, height stands, and other precision tools

  • Troubleshoot machining and setup issues to maintain efficiency

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams

  • Follow all safety, quality, and production standards

Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of CNC machining experience

  • Experience operating CNC mills and/or lathes

  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings

  • Knowledge of GD&T and tight‑tolerance machining

  • Proficiency with precision measuring equipment

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with 3‑axis, 4‑axis, or 5‑axis CNC machines

  • Familiarity with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Makino, Mitsubishi, or similar controls

  • Aerospace, turbine, defense, or precision manufacturing experience

  • CNC setup and troubleshooting experience
