QC Technician

QC Technician (2 Needed)The position is 8;00am – 4:30pm daily Monday – Friday. ½ hr. unpaid lunchThe responsibilities include checking and verifying all production standards and measurement tolerances, are being held throughout the entire shift - On the production / warehouse floor at all times - Checking and verifying all outgoing shipments for accuracy including materials and counts as well as tolerancesMid entry level range with QC Experience and knowledge and familiarity in the following areas:Must be proficient with the use of calipers, micrometers, and tape measuresMust be proficient in reading and understanding tolerances on measurementso     Must be able to lift 75 lbso     Must be able to keep accurate counts and documentationo     Must be able to be on their feet for extended periods of times - this includes bending over and liftingo     Must be able to use a ladder in cases of stock checks and verifications of tolerances•           Communications skills are a must. Interaction with all plant / warehouse staff•           Reports to Dennis and Bob (plant manager & assistant plant manager) - Communicating all issues with on shift lead operator
