Die Setter – Die Service International (Belleville, MI)
Minutemen Staffing is hiring Die Setters for Die Service International in Belleville, MI. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering permanent employment, career growth, and advancement opportunities with a well-established manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:
- Install, adjust, and secure dies in press equipment using hoists, cranes, and hand tools.
- Set machine parameters, including ram strokes, pressure settings, and automated equipment calibration.
- Perform first-piece and last-piece inspections using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues, clear jams, and assist with routine maintenance of presses and dies.
- Complete setup sheets, machine logs, and production documentation accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout requirements and PPE guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing, die setting, or press setup experience preferred.
- Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical documents.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced production environment.
