Cleaning Technician

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Commercial Cleaning Technician to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our commercial & residential contrats.

The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, possesses a strong eye for detail, and is committed to maintaining a safe, clean environment for staff and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to follow a structured cleaning checklist and accurately document completed tasks or report any site issues. Responsibilities include:

Daily Tasks:

• Floor Care: Sweep and mop all tile floors; vacuum all carpeted areas.
• Waste Management: Empty all waste bins and replace liners daily.
• Sanitization: Clean and thoroughly sanitize restrooms and drinking fountains.
• Entryways & Common Areas: Sweep entryways, clean main entry doors, and spot-clean walls as needed.
• Outdoor Maintenance: Empty outside ashtrays and keep the immediate exterior tidy.
• Reporting: Complete daily logs, document any maintenance issues or damage, and sign off on completed work.

Weekly & Monthly Tasks:

• Perform high and low dusting across the facility.
• Clean both sides of the front door glass.
• Clean interior windows and spray buff VCT floors monthly.

Quarterly Tasks:

• Perform seasonal carpet shampooing (typically scheduled in April and September).

Job Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• Punctuality: Must have a proven track record of showing up to work on time. Reliability is non-negotiable.
• Transportation: Must possess a valid driver’s license and a reliable personal vehicle/car to get to the job site.
• Background Check: Must be able to successfully pass a comprehensive criminal background check.
• Drug Screening: Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening (Note: This screening excludesmarijuana).
• Attention to Detail: Ability to follow a strict daily/weekly checklist and self-inspect your own work.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift standard cleaning equipment for the duration of the shift.

• Job Type:  Full-Time & Part-Time positions available
• Schedule:Evening shifts, Monday–Saturday]
• Pay Rate:  $18 - $22/hour starting depending on experience
