Job Description
Position Summary
We are seeking reliable and safety-focused Manufacturing Associates to join our client’s manufacturing team in Faribault, MN. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, monitoring machine performance, performing quality inspections, and supporting daily manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality products in a fast-paced production environment
Key Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment and machinery according to established procedures and safety standards
- Set up, adjust, and monitor machines to ensure efficient production and quality output
- Inspect finished products and components to verify compliance with specifications and quality requirements
- Read and follow work orders, production schedules, and manufacturing instructions
- Load raw materials and unload finished products as needed
- Identify and report equipment malfunctions, production issues, or quality concerns
- Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Assist with other manufacturing and production tasks as assigned
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures including PPE requirements to perform the job safely
Qualifications & Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Technical secondary education preferred
- 2 years manufacturing, machine operation, or production experience preferred
- Ability to read and understand work instructions, measurements, and production documents
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to use measuring tools and perform basic quality inspections
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis
Employment Type & Compensation
- This is a Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire position
- Pay rate is $20.00 per hour
