Job Description
Title: Building Engineer
Pay Rate: $22-23/HR on W2
Hours: M-F 8am - 4:30pm
Location: 300 Crosspoint Pkwy, Getzville NY
Overview of Work Environment/Client Nuances:
This is an office building with commercial grade cooling system
Team Overview:
Work will be done independently and as part of a team
Resource's typical working day:
Lot of mechanical PM's
Event set-ups
Building rounds
Painting/patching
Light plumbing
General maintenance
Licenses/Certifications:
Any HVAC or electrical certifications would be a plus
Must Have Skills:
Good mechanical skills
General carpentry skills
Basic electrical skills
Basic plumbing skills
General HVAC skills
Nice to have skills:
Great mechanical aptitude
Soft Skills:
Good teamwork
Customer service skills
Years of Experience:
5+ years
Education
H.S. Diploma or GED
Software skills:
CMMS experience
Basic computer skills
Interview Process:
1st round in-person with H.M., 2nd round virtual with client

As a Building Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining and repairing building system operations and the performance of various areas including plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating, and cooling.
