Job Description
New York City Health + Hospitals Elmhurst affiliated with the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai is seeking a full time Physiatrist in the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine. The hospital is easily accessible by public transportation and car from all areas of New York City, New Jersey and Long Island.
Responsibilities include:
Managing outpatient rehabilitation clinics
Performing inpatient consultations and adult bedside consultations as needed
Providing weekend coverage for inpatient consultations one Saturday per month for 4-6 hours
Candidates must have a MD degree and be board certified or board eligible in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a valid New York State License, DEA and Medicaid number. Fellowship training in Sports Medicine is a plus. We offer a faculty appointment with the Icahn School of Medical at Mount Sinai commensurate with credentials, experience and qualifications. We also offer a highly competitive compensation and benefits package including CME. Compensation ranges from $241,000 to $246,000 and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
