Registered Dental Hygienist

Kings Beach Dental is continuing to grow! We strive to provide high quality care efficiently while focusing on the patient experience. We have lot of new patients coming into the Practice, and we need a 2nd RDH to join our team 2-4 days per week. Can be flexible with what days we add.

RDH Duties:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning teeth, taking X-rays, and applying fluoride treatments, Periodontal scaling and root planning
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide recommendations for at-home care
- Conduct thorough dental assessments and screenings to identify any oral health issues or concerns
- Assist the dentist during procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials
- Maintain accurate patient records, knowledge of Open Dental is helpful
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff
- Collaborate with the dental team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients

Skills:

- Valid RDH license in [CA]
- Open Dental is helpful but not required
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and explain procedures
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and record keeping
- Knowledge of proper dental procedure codes, billing and insurance claims processing
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with other dental professionals
- Strong organizational skills to manage patient schedules and maintain efficient workflow
