About the Role:
NJ STEPS is a well-established pediatric speech and language therapy practice located in West Caldwell, New Jersey. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our growing team in either a full-time or part-time capacity.
We pride ourselves on providing high-quality, individualized care to children with a wide range of communication, feeding, and developmental needs. Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations and assessments to determine speech and language needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients.
- Provide therapy sessions to improve communication skills and fluency.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to support client progress.
- Document and track client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Stay current with best practices and advancements in speech-language pathology.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- New Jersey SLP License (or eligibility)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Pediatric experience required
- Experience conducting speech and language evaluations and developing treatment plans
- Strong communication and parent counseling skills
- Experience with or strong interest in Gestalt Language Processing (GLP)
- Experience with or strong interest in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)
- Ability to collaborate with occupational therapists and participate in co-treatment sessions when appropriate
- Passion for working with children and supporting families

- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
