Elementary High School Special Education Teacher | Piscataway, New Jersey

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Active New Jersey special education teaching license required
• Experience teaching at the elementary, middle, or high school level preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized lesson plans based on student IEPs
• Modify curriculum and instructional strategies to accommodate unique learning styles
• Work closely with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
• Track and report student progress, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Advocate for students’ needs and participate in IEP meetings as required
• Contribute to a positive school culture focused on student growth and achievement
