Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license and minimum 1+ years Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid LPN License in the state of Alabama
• Experience providing pediatric care or supporting students in a school setting is highly desirable
• Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills
• Ability to respond quickly and effectively to medical concerns in a school environment
• Compassionate approach to student care and team collaboration

Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency nursing care to students from kindergarten through grade 12
• Administer medications and treatments as outlined in student care plans
• Document health interventions, maintain student health records, and ensure compliance with privacy regulations
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers to support student wellness and safety
• Educate students and staff about basic health, hygiene, and injury prevention
• Be available for on-call health needs as scheduled through the school calendar
