Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Connecticut Educator Certification required
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English
  • Degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
  • Experience providing psychological assessments, interventions, and consultation in school environments
  • Familiarity with a variety of grade levels and caseloads
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and cultural competency skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations for students as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Deliver direct counseling, intervention, and crisis support services
  • Participate in meetings with staff and families, translating and interpreting when necessary
  • Offer consultation and recommendations to educators, parents, and administrators to support student learning and behavioral plans
  • Maintain accurate, confidential records in alignment with district and ethical standards
