Our client is seeking a Financial Systeme Manager with expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Acumatica or similar to serve as the primary owner of the organization's ERP environment, supporting both Finance and IT through system administration, process optimization, and financial reporting enhancements. This role ensures the ERP system is configured for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability while enabling high‐quality financial operations and data integrity.
The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, hands‐on technical expertise (strong SQL, scripting a must!), and the ability to lead system improvements and cross‐functional initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee user roles, permissions, controls, and security settings.
- Serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert
- Manage system updates, releases, integrations, and third‐party applications.
- Configure and maintain core modules including GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, and Purchasing.
Financial Systems & Reporting
- Improve reporting accuracy, automation, and workflow efficiency.
- Support month‐end, quarter‐end, and year‐end close activities.
- Ensure system configurations align with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Partner with Finance leadership to design and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPIs.
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Analyze current accounting and operational workflows; recommend enhancements.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and strengthen data integrity.
- Lead system‐related projects including module implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
Cross‐Functional Collaboration
- Support teams with reporting needs and system functionality.
- Train end‐users and develop SOPs, documentation, and best practices.
- Act as liaison between Finance, IT, and external vendors or consultants.
Data Integrity & Compliance
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
- Support internal and external audits with system data and reporting.
- Maintain documentation for system changes, controls, and configurations.
Qualifications (Must-Haves)
- 10+ years of hands‐on ERP expertise.
- Systems thinking and process improvement mindset.
- High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Bachelor's degree .
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non‐technical users.
- Strong accounting principles and financial operations knowledge.
- Strong understanding of GL, AP/AR, financial reporting, and close processes.
- Experience with system implementations, upgrades, or optimization initiatives.
