School Psychologist - Accord, NY

Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students in a welcoming school environment! A full-time school psychologist is needed to cover a maternity leave during the upcoming fall. You will collaborate with dedicated educators to ensure students in kindergarten through third grade receive the support they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Key Qualifications:

• Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience with elementary (K-3) populations strongly preferred
• Knowledge of current best practices in assessment, counseling, and intervention at the elementary level
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt to new environments and work as part of a multidisciplinary team

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and educational assessments to support students’ learning and behavioral needs
• Deliver individual and group counseling to students, fostering emotional and social growth
• Develop, implement, and monitor intervention and behavior plans
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) and Child Study Team meetings
• Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to create a supportive, inclusive school climate
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per federal, state, and school requirements
