We are hiring a dependable General Production Worker to support several departments in a manufacturing environment. In this role, you’ll be responsible for performing various tasks such as loading and unloading parts, picking parts, and working as a team to hang up parts as needed. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, steady work and takes pride in attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect parts for defects and ensure quality standards are met
• Stage and organize parts for the next step in production
• Load/unload materials safely and efficiently
• Move parts throughout the facility using carts
• Assist with general production tasks such as picking, packing, and light assembly
• Perform basic cleaning duties to maintain a safe, organized workspace
• Safely use basic hand and power tools
• Follow all safety procedures and communicate issues to leadership

Qualifications

• 1+ year of manufacturing or general labor experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work throughout the shift
• Attention to detail with a focus on quality inspection
• Experience with basic tools and general production tasks
• Strong reliability and attendance
• Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Altamont, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.64 - $17.31/hr.
