Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Current School Psychologist certification in New York State (or eligibility for certification)
  • Experience working with elementary students (K-3) strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP process, assessment tools, and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively engage with students, staff, and families

Core Responsibilities:

  • Complete psycho-educational assessments for students as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with educators, parents, and specialists
  • Provide counseling and direct support services to students, focusing on social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding intervention strategies and student progress
  • Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with school and state guidelines
  • Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment for all students
