Cascades of Tucson is searching for a qualified LPN or RN to lead our Health Services Department in providing high quality care and services to our assisted living and memory care residents. This position is full-time, with a flexible schedule. A successful candidate must have a fingerprint clearance card, be able to pass a background check and drug screen and have a current TB test pre-hire. Salary DOE.
Responsibilities:
Provides overall management of the Health Services Department with an emphasis on providing top-notch customer service and high-quality care to include:
  • Providing effective and efficient organization within the Health Services Department; leading a team of professional caregivers and med techs.
  • Maintaining professional partnerships with physicians, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and other medical professionals to ensure the highest quality care.
  • Maintaining frequent communication with families regarding the care of their loved ones.
  • Conducting health evaluations for all residents at move-in and at State-required intervals for assisted living and memory care residents.
  • Ensuring quality care is consistently delivered for the highest care outcomes and customer satisfaction
  • Auditing resident charts for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide initial and ongoing training for professional growth for care team.
  • Occasional weekend, evening, and holiday work required; shared on-call duties.

Qualifications:
  • Current LPN or RN license in Arizona in good standing.
  • 2-3 years of nursing experience.
  • Knowledge of the Arizona DHS Rules and Regulations regarding assisted living and memory care.
  • Willingness to learn and advance in the industry.
  • Knowledge of Alzheimer’s and dementia.
  • Excellent assessment and documentation skills; highly organized.
  • Understanding of the importance of quality in care, a personal touch, and regular communication in all aspects of position.
  • Computer proficiency skills.
  • Leadership and management skills, with the ability to coordinate across disciplines.
