Shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Experience with ortho views preferred.

Special Requests: Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. RTO must be submitted upfront; additional RTO will not be approved after submission.

Unit Details: No clinical involvement. General x-ray duties include trauma, ortho, OR, long leg, and scoliosis studies. Uses McKesson PACS and CRTIS. Department equipment includes Siemens digital radiography, Siemens digital fluoroscopy, Siemens portable digital x-ray, and GE c-arm. No IV starts. No radiologist in-house.

Shift & Scheduling: Mon-Fri. On-call rotation 1 in 2-3, shared among staff technologists, including weekends and holidays. CT covers after-hours x-ray; x-ray tech is on call for high volumes or major trauma. Closed for major holidays with rotating on-call hours. Response time: 20 minutes. Low call-back volume for this position.

Floating Requirements: May help with transport in other modalities if not busy.

Required Credentials: Resume: Each employment history entry must include all the following: detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, teaching facility.

Previous Employment Requirements: Eligibility as Current/Previous Employee: Cannot have worked at any CommonSpirit location within the last 12 months.
