Golf Shop Attendant

Join the team at Lake Almanor Country Club as a Golf Shop Attendant, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service to our members and guests. This position offers a dynamic environment that combines customer service, golf course assistance, and retail responsibilities, providing a rewarding experience for those passionate about golf and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with the day-to-day operations of the golf shop
• Open and close the golf shop as scheduled
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked pro shop
• Assist with merchandising and inventory organization
• Answer phone calls and book tee times
• Check in golfers, process payments, and manage daily sales
• Reconcile cash register sales and daily reports
• Assist the Golf Shop Manager with golf tournaments and special events
• Support outside services including:
• Maintaining the cart fleet
• Cleaning and organizing golf balls
• Maintaining the driving range, practice tees, putting green, and short game areas

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in retail, customer service, or golf course operations preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Basic knowledge of golf equipment and terminology is a plus
• Reliable, punctual, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to varying weather conditions
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and early mornings as needed
