Material Handler/Forklift

Our client, an industry leader in warehouse and industrial operations, is seeking a dedicated Material Handler/Forklift to join their team. As a Material Handler/Forklift, you will be an essential part of the warehouse operations team supporting efficient and safe handling of materials. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Material Handler/Forklift

Location: Westminster, MD

Pay Range: $18

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

• Participate in daily cycle counting of parts in the warehouse to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Operate computer systems and RF scanners to pick and put away materials efficiently within the warehouse management system.
• Assist with opening boxes, counting materials, and verifying received goods in the receiving area.
• Support packaging and shipping of goods, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Work collaboratively with team members, providing support and assistance as needed to meet workload demands.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0-2 years of experience in material handling or warehouse operations preferred.
• Ability to operate a forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
• Willingness to work overtime and alternate shifts based on workload demands.
