Job DescriptionCompany Description
We are seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to become a part of our team! You will coordinate medical and health services within a network of health centers in Northeast Alabama.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee medical and health service activities and personnel
- Plan and coordinate health services
- Work collaboratively with physicians to implement appropriate healthcare programs
- Maintain a clean environment to ensure patient safety
- Establish and enforce healthcare policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Medical or Dental degree from an approved school of medicine.
- Master of Public Health (MPH) preferred
- Board-eligible required.
- License to practice medicine in the State of Alabama.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of medicine related to Public Health service and Primary Care Health services.
- Minimum of three (3) years administrative experience preferred. Minimum three (5) years clinical experience required.
- Demonstrated knowledge of state and federal laws pertaining to Public and Primary Health Care.
