Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology practice. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and thrives in a high-volume clinical environment while providing exceptional patient care.
We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Full-Time Certified Medical Assistant to join our fast-paced dermatology practice. The ideal candidate is reliable, compassionate, and thrives in a high-volume clinical environment while providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain accurate medical histories
- Assist providers with dermatologic exams and procedures
- Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and supplies
- Perform basic clinical tasks such wound care, biopsies assistance, excisions and suture removal
- Document accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Provide patient education and post-procedure instructions
- Return patient phone messages and address any concerns
- Maintain patient flow and support efficient clinic operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and infection control standards
Qualifications:
- Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (CMA/RMA), not required if you have experience
- Prior experience in dermatology strongly preferred (will consider motivated candidates with strong clinical background)
- Experience using ModMed EMA preferred but not required
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy setting
- Professional, positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset
Schedule:
- Full-time. Some Saturdays
- No nights or major holidays (schedule details may vary)
