Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 1st Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our manufacturing facility team. This role is essential in ensuring the continuous operation and optimal performance of production equipment and plant systems during the first shift. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of industrial mechanics, electrical systems, hydraulics, and preventative maintenance practices. They will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, troubleshooting complex machinery, and supporting operational efficiency to meet production goals. Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment according to schedules.

2. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and perform timely repairs.

3. Troubleshoot equipment failures and determine root cause to prevent recurrence.

4. Repair or replace defective parts such as motors, bearings, belts, switches, and sensors.

5. Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and work orders.

6. Install, align, and test new equipment or modifications.

7. Maintain and repair building systems including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and electrical systems.

8. Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and adjustments.

9. Maintain accurate maintenance records in CMMS or ERP systems.

10. Communicate effectively with production and management teams.

11. Support continuous improvement initiatives.

12. Ensure compliance with safety procedures including LOTO.

13. Maintain housekeeping standards.

14. Assist with spare parts inventory.

15. Perform snow removal using plow, snow blower, and shovel as needed.

16. Operate overhead cranes and forklifts.

17. Train employees on proper and safe use of cranes and forklifts.

Knowledge and Skill

· High School Diploma required; technical certification preferred. 2–5 years maintenance experience preferred. Strong mechanical and electrical skills. Knowledge of PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Ability to read schematics and use CMMS/ERP systems.

· Organizational skills

· Ability to read and analyze Information

· Proficiency with prioritizing and meeting multiple deadlines
