Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified and Board Eligible Emergency Medicine and Pediatric Emergency Medicine physicians for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

This high-acuity Emergency Department offers the opportunity to practice within a Level I Trauma Center environment supported by Emergency Medicine residents, Advanced Practice Providers, dedicated trauma resources, and comprehensive specialty support. Physicians will join a collaborative team delivering emergency care across a diverse patient population within one of Oklahoma's busiest emergency departments.

General Emergency Medicine

• 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• 11:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM
• 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Trauma Coverage

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Resident Coverage

• 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
• 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM

Clinical Scope

• Evaluation, stabilization, treatment, and disposition of emergency patients
• Management of high-acuity emergency presentations
• Trauma and critical care management
• Emergency procedures within physician scope of practice
• Collaboration with Emergency Medicine residents, APPs, nursing teams, and consulting specialists
• Documentation and order management using Epic EMR

Practice Environment

• 75,000 Annual Emergency Department Visits
• 4 Dedicated Trauma Bays
• 12 Critical Care Rooms
• 32 General Medical Monitored Exam Rooms
• 4 Dedicated Psychiatric Treatment Rooms
• 5 Triage Stations
• 7 Fast Track Bays
• 1 Decontamination Room
• Trauma Emergency Center Admission Rate: 40%
• Active Emergency Medicine Residency Training Environment

Candidate Requirements
Emergency Medicine Physicians

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine
• Active Oklahoma License or Ability to Obtain

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians

• Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Emergency Medicine
• Active Oklahoma License or Ability to Obtain

Additional Requirements

• Current ACLS
• Current ATLS (as required)
• Current PALS
