Job Title: Product Regulatory Specialist
Job Description
Collaborate closely with product development, supply chain, project management, marketing, and sales teams to ensure the global compliance of marketed lubricants. Facilitate adherence to regulatory requirements related to GHS, USMCA, Import/Export regulations, REACH, and other regulatory entities as needed.
Responsibilities
- Review and approve industrial and consumer packaging to ensure accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Manage internal and external product regulatory requests by assigning ownership and updating statuses.
- Organize, update, and control SDS documents and records.
- Validate data related to Proposition 65, SVHC, REACH, and other relevant regulatory bodies.
- Maintain well-organized records for easy retrieval of required information.
- Prepare documentation to assist in fulfilling USMCA-related requests.
- Complete product and chemical classification of shipping hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
- Support new product development.
- Actively participate in initiatives to improve processes and procedures.
- Perform other product stewardship functions as assigned.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, chemical, or product compliance.
- Working knowledge of OSHA (HazCom preferred), DOT/49 CFR, IATA, and IMDG.
- Strong depth of international regulatory experience, particularly in regions such as Canada, Mexico, EU, and APAC.
- Experience with HazMat and product registrations and compliance initiatives (e.g., TSCA, Prop 65, PFAS).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with consumer and industrial product labeling.
- Comfortable in a customer-facing, cross-functional role.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Highly organized, self-motivated team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365; experience with Smartsheet is a plus.
Work Environment
The standard schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with flexibility to start earlier (7:00 AM–4:00 PM) if preferred. This is a hybrid role based at the New Hope, MN facility, with 3 days onsite (Tuesday–Thursday) and 2 days remote (Monday and Friday). The work is performed in a general office environment. You'll be part of a collaborative, fast-paced team that values transparency, engagement, and continuous learning, with exposure to a variety of products, regulations, and cross-functional partners.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $38.46 - $41.35/hr.
