Warehouse Associate
Location: Vancouver, WA 98682
Pay: $19.00/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM (40 hours)
A leading healthcare services organization specializing in pharmacy, medical equipment, and nutrition support is seeking a dependable Warehouse Associate to join its Vancouver, WA team. This position plays a key role in ensuring healthcare products and supplies are accurately received, processed, and distributed to support patient care.
This is a temporary opportunity expected to last approximately 3 months, with potential for longer-term employment based on business needs and performance.
Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming inventory and supplies
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare shipments for delivery
- Process shipping and receiving transactions using inventory management technology
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with inventory control activities
- Process delivery documentation and ensure accurate recordkeeping
- Select appropriate shipping methods for healthcare-related products and supplies
- Safely operate warehouse equipment and maintain an organized work environment
- Assist with moving inventory between nearby warehouse locations as needed
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, OSHA guidelines, and quality standards
- Participate in team meetings and process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid, unencumbered driver's license
- Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory management experience
- Basic computer skills and comfort using technology for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in healthcare, pharmacy, medical equipment, or distribution environments
- Forklift experience or certification (not required)
Additional Information
- This role supports the distribution of healthcare products, including pharmacy items, medical equipment, and nutritional products.
- A valid driver's license is required as employees may occasionally travel between nearby warehouse facilities.
- No delivery driving is required.
