Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring prior travel experience, advanced certifications including C-EFM and NRP, and on-call availability.

Details\n

\n
• High-risk Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting
\n
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
\n
• 13-week contract
\n
• On-call required: 36 hours per 6-week period (12 hours per pay period); must be on-site within 45 minutes of receiving a call
\n
• Every other weekend required
\n
• Every other holiday required
\n
• Float required within skillset, including Mom/Baby and postpartum units
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active Maryland (MD) or Compact RN license required
\n
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM (through NCC)
\n
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
\n
• High-risk L&D experience required
\n
• At least 1 prior travel nursing assignment required
\n
• Required skills: circulating, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), and preceptor and/or charge experience
\n
• Triage experience preferred
\n
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years
\n
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained
\n

• Care for high-risk Labor & Delivery patients requiring advanced monitoring and intervention
\n
• All certifications (NRP, STABLE, and C-EFM through NCC) must be current and in hand at the time of consideration
