LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care for a travel nursing job in San Antonio, Texas.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
- Level IV NICU (CHRISTUS Children’s Hospital)
- Patient mix includes feeder/growers to high-acuity critical neonatal cases
- CNA support available for higher acuity assignments (1:4 ratios)
- Strong perinatal and neonatal care environment
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekends per 6 weeks
- Includes 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per rotation cycle
- 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Full-time 13-week contract
- RN License (TX or Compact)
- BLS (AHA only)
- NRP Certification (Required)
- STABLE Certification (Required)
- Minimum 1 year NICU experience preferred
- Perinatal / NICU experience strongly preferred
- Provide direct neonatal intensive care using nursing process (assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation)
- Administer medications and monitor neonatal response
- Manage complex neonatal conditions and high-risk infants
- Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately
- Provide education and emotional support to families
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary NICU team
